D. Patrick Collins began writing in fifth grade when his teacher Mrs. Easterly offered extra credit in exchange for writing about anything a fifth-grade child had on their mind. He wrote about time machines.
His award-winning article Far from Home was featured in the Christian small press book True Stories of Heaven Invading Earth (edited by Julia Loren, Forward by Bill Johnson). More recently, he was recognized by Fox News contributor and author Suzanne Venker (The Alpha Female’s Guide to Men & Marriage, 2017) for his article The Day I Put My Wife in Her Place. He is currently a contributing author for Freedom and Life Now magazine for Lifenews Kingdom Church in London, UK.
A lifelong native of California, Patrick currently resides in San Clemente.
