Urgent Prayer Please (Update)

It is with great sadness I inform you that my sweet beautiful wife Catherine passed away last Tuesday night at 7:30 PM.

Many of you are probably unaware Catherine had her own prophetic prayer ministry, emotionalrenovation.com. The tagline was “letting Jesus rebuild our lives.” But I liked what Catherine often said about what it was she did: Helping people connect to the love of God.

Many of you are also probably unaware of how deeply my own writings were shaped and inspired by her own life: How her deep connection with Jesus has, throughout the years, connected me more profoundly to the love of God than I ever thought possible.

She will be greatly missed. She was the most profoundly authentic and passionate woman of God I ever knew and had such a tremendous impact on so many people.

Catherine, we will miss you and are so grateful for your blessing in our lives. I know for you and all of us who know you, this is not the end, but only the beginning.

  1. I am so sorry for this great sadness, for the pain and grief of separation. I mourn with you, it just hurts. May the Lord hug you with His peace and His comfort, with His assurance that she is now safe in His arms. You have been a good husband, a great blessing. She would want you to know, well done good and faithful servant. You are loved more than you can even imagine.

  2. So very sorry to hear this, Patrick. Your wife must’ve been a remarkable woman. And what a wonderful ministry, too. Will be praying for you and family. I’m sure she will be dearly missed. But, as you put so well, this is not the end, but only the beginning. You will see her again! But, in the meantime, may you find overwhelming love in the Father’s embrace and may His peace fill you completely. Blessings to you.

  3. I pray that the Lord comfort you in the every day loss of missing the love of your life. May your relationship with the Lord grow deeper and fill your days with His presence.

  4. Patrick, I’m shocked (I visited Catherine’s blog several times recently) and can only add my voice to others in offering my sincerest condolences and prayers, while rejoicing in Catherine’s completion in Christ.
